New for Waterfest® 10 is the Tire Changing Event.
This event will take place on Saturday, July 17th .
and is free for anyone to participate in (General admission required).
For this event Waterfest will supply two essentially identical cars.
These cars will be positioned 60 feet before the starting line on the
Drag Strip. A floor jack, 2 tire irons and 2 jack stands will be
positioned 25 feet from the car. There will be two teams competing at a
time, each team consisting of two participants.

At the starting whistle the teams will run to get the jack, 2 tire irons and the 2 jack stands, jack up the car from the middle of each side, and swap the tires front to rear. When both sides of tires have been swapped they will bring the jack, jack stands and tire irons back to where they were, run back to the car and push the car sixty feet to the drag strip starting line. The first team to get to the starting line wins that round. Each winning team will get a door prize and the finalists will win the aluminum floor jacks.
